Great!

I purchased field day ribbons, just like in the product picture, with our preschool information. I chose a ribbon color, ink color and submitted our mascot. I also paid the extra $10 for being emailed a proof to view before printing. I got the proof and it looked perfect, so I gave the go ahead. When I received the ribbons, they did not look great and not clear at all. Nothing like the proof I received. The font was too thick and the letters were hard to make out. Everything looked unclear and "blob" like. I called customer service and spoke to a nice lady to said that the black ink is thicker and often prints that way. I asked her why the actual product looked so different than the proof I was sent and she told me that the printed product never looks exactly like the proof. Well, this confused me because that is exactly why you have a proof to begin with! She allowed me to reorder, change the ribbon color and use silver ink, since it is thinner and would print better, and she rushed the shipping so we could have it in time for our field day. I asked about possibly having a different font that was not so rounded, and she said she would ask the desgin department. I only had to pay half the cost of the ribbons, and the shipping was free. Her willingness to help us get the ribbons on time and have a better product in hand is the only reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. When we got the new ribbons, just in time, I looked at them and they were just barely better but still not very clear. The font was not changed, just the color and everything else was the same. Not great, just O.K. I am thankful that she tried, though, to help out. Just not happy with paying $130 (in total) for something that is just O.K.

Once again I have returned to Jones Awards for my ribbons. I appreciate being able to personalize the ribbons for our school & event. Turn around time is good, and ordering is easy. My only request would be for more images - some string instruments would be nice.

Received my recent order for stock items - they are very nice. HOwever, the ribbons I ordered for exhibitors disappointed me. I had requested the art palette symbol which was fine but the lettering below was all in capital letters spelling exhibitors vertically. Perhaps in a different font it wouldn't llook as bad, but why was a word spelled out in capital letters? Because I didn't have an invoice, I could not send them back and because I need them for the 23rd of February, there may not be time to replace them. If you have a solution, I would like to hear it. Not Happy!

I was very disappointed when these ribbons arrived. The color I chose for the lettering was red and the selection colors looked very true, but when the ribbons came, the lettering looks more maroon that a true red. Our school colors are red, black and white but the ribbons are maroon and white.... :( I also think the shipping and handling price was way too expensive.

The Ribbons were beautiful and excellent quality. Sadly however they did not come before the day of our event. Ribbons were ordered weeks ahead of the event. Monday before the event I received a call that said that there had been a printing problem. The woman was very nice and said, you were supposed to receive them today, but when really is the event? We will have them there for the event. I told her it was Friday, October 27th. I did not get the ribbons till the the 28th. This meant a ton of disappointed children, who thought they received nothing!...Sad day for our elementary.

We have a relay for life american cancer society team. for fundraising we put on our 1st annual 5k run/walk. I get frustrated when I come in 4th in races and only the 1st 3 get ribbons so we had a ribbon for EVERY participant! our runners loved it and the price was perfect for this event (trying to keep it as costly as possible since we were raising money) will order them again next year!! Thanks
