Lapel Pins as Motivation

These label pins have been wonderful to use as rewards for my middle school students. I have been awarding them to students in my homeschool art, history, and science classes for several years now. Each time the student earns 100 optional activity points they get another pin on the bulletin board. At the end of each semester they take the pins home along with a certificate of achievement. Students earn points for workbook pages, extra reading, book reports, projects, model building, and Internet activities done at home in their free time. I would recommend this product to teachers in the classroom or the homeschool as a great way to motivate your students.

These pins are just the right thing for my volunteers who have reached a 30 year or over 7000 hour record of volunteerism. They are a nice weight and will stand out from their other pins. What I would have liked is a better presentation option, as the little zip lock bags won't be useable.
