I indicated "average" because: The small clip which is used to "hook" the medals I purchased onto the ribbon seemed to be a bit too small for the size of the medal. Likewise, the clip was a bit difficult to open to hook the medal onto it.

A lot of the stitching on the ribbons came loose. There was no locking or securing the end threads. The tiny metal circles were not closed completely and the hook came off the circle. I had to resew the ribbons and put a piece of scotch tape over the circle gap.

These are a functional item. However, the hook that comes with the ribbon to attached the medal is not particularly pretty.

The ribbons have a gold ring at the bottom so you can attach the medal. 3 kids came back to me within hours showing me their broken ribbons - the gold ring was gone! It didn't look broken, but it was too common. You can just order extra for those cases, but what about all the kids whose break after they get home? I wish they were made better.
